Harry Potter 3 and 4 Colors (07 June 2010)

"Harry didn't recognize the third owl a hansome

tawny (of a dark yellowish or dull yellowish-brown color, Dictionary.com) one, but he knew at once where it had come from because in addition to a third parcel it was carrying a letter bearing the Hogwarts crest."

Uncle Vernon stopped, his fists still raised. His face an ugly puce (of a dark or brownish purple, Dictionary.com).

Fudge took off his pinstriped cloak and tossed it aside, then hitched up the trousers of his bottle green suit and sat down opposite Harry.

"Everything was lit with a dim crimson light. The curtains of the windows were all closed, and the many lamps were draped with dark red scarves."

Trotting toward them were a dozen of the most bizzare creatures Harry had ever seen. They had the bodies, hind legs and tails of horses but the front legs, wings, and heads of what seemed to be giant eagles with cruel steel colored beaks and large brilliantly orange eyes....Each of them a different color, stormy grey, bronze, a pinkish roan ((chiefly of horses) of the color sorrel, chestnut, or bay, sprinkled with gray or white, Dictionary.com)

"'Weasley, cut up Malfoy's roots for him,' said Snape without looking up. Ron went brick red."

"His potion which was supposed to be a bright acid green had turned...'orange, Longbottom?'"

"Two weeks before the end of term the sky lightened suddenly to a dazzeling opaline white..."

"Ron threw something down on Hermione's Rune translation. Hermione and Harry leaned forward. Lying on top of the weird spiky shapes were several long ginger cat hairs.

The silver serpent of Slytherine glittered on their flags and Professor Snape sat in the very front row wearing green like everyone else and a very grim smile.

"The third-years emerged from transfiguration on Monday limp and ashen faced, comparing results and bemoaning the difficulty of the task they had been set including turning a teapot into a tortoise..

"...they heard the soft pounding of gigantic paws. Something was bounding toward them out of the dark, an enormous, pale-eyed, jet black dog."

"He sat up, one hand still on his scar the other reaching out in the darkness for his glasses which were on the bedside table. He put them on and his bedroom came into clearer focus, lit by a faint misty orange light that was filtering through the curtains from the street lamp outside the window."

"The stairs into the stadium were carpeted in rich purple.

"It was a cold clear evening. Dusk was falling and a pale, transparent looking moon was already shining over the forbidden forest.

"The horses hooves, larger than dinner plates, hit the ground. A second later the carriage landed too bouncing upon its vast wheels while the golden horses tossed their enormous heads and rolled large firery red eyes."

"She was revealed to have a hansome, olive skinned face.

"She was dressed from head to foot in black satin and many magnificent opals gleamed on her throat and on her thick fingers.

"Now that they had removed their furs, the Durmstrang students were revealed to be wearing robes of a deep blood red.

"Dumbledore reached inside it and pulled out a large, roughly-hewned wooden cup. It would have been entirely unremarkable had it not been full to the brim dancing blue white flames."

"The decorations in the great hall had changed this morning. As it was Halloween, a clowd of live bats was fluttering around the enchanted ceiling while hundreds of carved pumpkins leered from every corner."

"He [Ron] wrenched the hanging shut around his four-poster leaving Harry standing there beside the door staring at the dark red velvet curtains.

" Five chairs had been set behind the velvet covered desks and Ludo Bagman was sitting in one of them talking to a witch Harry had never seen before who was wearing magenta robes."

"She wore jeweled spectacles. The thick fingers clutching her crocodile handbag ended in two-inch nails painted in crimson.

"She reached again into her crocodile bag and drew out a long acid green quill.

"Dressed in his maroon paisley pajamas, Ron stopped dead facing Harry across the room and looked around.

"It was Rita Skeeter. She was wearing acid green robes today. The quick quotes quill in her hand blended perfectly against them."

"...Harry and Ron who had been having a sword fight with a couple of Fred and George's fake wands looked up, Ron now holding a tin parrot and Harry a rubber haddock.

Rummors about the yule ball were flying everywhere though Harry didn't believe in half of them. For instance, that Dumbledore had bought 800 barrels of mulled mead from Madam Rosemerta."

"Ludo Bagman, tonight in robes of bright purple with large yellow stars was clapping as enthusiastically as any of the students."

"...Madam Maxime, who had changed her usual uniform of black satin for lavender silk...."

"He had put the golden egg upstairs in his trunk and hadn't opened it since the celebration party after the first task.".

"'You has to eat this Sir, ' squeaked the elf. And he put his hands in the pockets of his shorts and drew out a ball of what looked like slimy, greyish green rat tails. 'Right before you go into the lake, Sir, Gillyweed.'

"Small fish flickered past him like silver darts."

" Light green weeds stretched ahead of him as far as he could see two feet deep like a meadow of overgrown grass."

"He whipped around and saw Moaning Myrtle floating hazily in front of him, gazing at him through her Version:0.9 thick pearly glasses."
